If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V125666 or speak to your customer contact.

V122407 - Updated Work Copy process

This will be reflected in the stage of the creation where users are asked to select what additional information to copy.

If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V122407, or speak to your customer contact.

Please note, this is available to all customers but will require configuration in Maintenance to enable. Please raise a Tracker call quoting V125293 or speak to your customer contact if you would like more information.

If the edition belongs to a division not selected in the group Divisions field (and the group Divisions field is not blank) then it will not be possible for the edition to be added to the group.

Please note, this is available to all customers but will not be enabled by default and will require configuration in Maintenance to enable. Please raise a tracker call quoting V123785 or speak to your customer contact if you would like more information.

V114356 - Improvement to Product Form Detail

The ONIX Product Form Detail feature has been improved so it is now possible to send a ProductFormDescription without also needing a ProductFormDetail Code to be populated. This allows for a description to be sent out even in situations where an additional ProductFormDetail is not being communicated.

These changes are reflected in ONIX 2.1, ONIX 3 and the ONIX wizard.

If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V114356, or speak to your customer contact.

V126814 - ONIX Collection Identifier Types

V123218 - Corrections flag added to Product Types

New functionality has been added to the Product Type Maintenance level screen which when enabled will populate the “Corrections?” field on the Edition and Impression Specification screens, allowing users to denote whether corrections exist. The latter will only be applicable to customers with the Impressions module.

The ‘Corrections?’ field will be available to add as a filter or column on all edition and/or impression level reports, as well as to the fields panel on the Dashboard. The value of the flag will be retained on reprint impressions and provisional costings, where applicable.

Please note, this is available to all customers but will not be enabled by default and will require configuration in Maintenance to enable. Please raise a tracker call quoting V123218 or speak to your customer contact if you would like more information.

V122256 - New Purchase Order Default Screen added

Please note, this change is only applicable to customers using the Purchase Order functionality in the Impressions module.

Purchase Order Default settings can now be created. Customers can set-up Purchase Order default criteria based on specific preferences. Biblio will use these settings to automatically apply defaults when a Purchase Order is created.

Please note, this is available to all customers but is controlled by security rights and will require configuration in Maintenance to enable. Please raise a tracker call quoting V122256 or speak to your customer contact if you would like more information.

V120070 - Apply Sales Forecasting to new or existing Provisional Costings

Enhancements to the Sales Forecasting functionality have been made as part of this release. Previously Biblio only supported applying a Sales Forecasting Template to a Provisional Costing during its creation through the New Acquisition Wizard.

This functionality has now been expanded to allow Sales Forecasting Templates to be applied to any new or existing Provisional Costings as well as removed once applied.

All screens that allow Sales and Royalties Templates to be applied, such as the Provisional Costings screen at Work level or the Provisional Costings - Advanced Costing screen, will display an additional Sales Forecasting Template lookup.

This lookup when clicked into will display all unarchived Sales Forecasting Templates available in the system which match the divisional criteria of the Provisional Costings’ Edition and have the “Apply all Sales Periods to a single Provisional Costing?” enabled, as per current Sales Forecasting Template functionality.

Where a Sales Forecasting Template has been applied to a Provisional Costing a new button labelled “Remove” will be presented to users. Pressing the “Remove” button for a Sales Forecasting Template will allow users to remove the Sales Forecasting Template applied and its associated Sales Periods and will give users the possibility of adding a different Sales Forecasting Template to this same Provisional Costing.

Please note, this change is only available for customers with the Provisional Costings functionality. If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V120070, or speak to your customer contact.

V99530 - Changes to Subright Invoice PDFs

Please note this is only applicable to PDF Subright Invoice customers. A change has been made on the Subright Invoice PDFs so the Invoice Footer will always align with the bottom of the page regardless of its size.

Enhancements were also made as part of this development to the Subrights Invoice Configuration section at Publisher Maintenance level. Which when enabled will display new fields named ‘Remittance Email’ and ‘Remittance Address’ and populate the Email Address and Address in the text currently being displayed at the top of the Remittance Page: ‘Please email remittance advice to [Email Address] or post to the above address’.

If the Email field is blank, then the email address will function as it does currently.

If the Address field is populated the text will change to ‘Please email remittance advice to [Email Address] or post to below address,’ with the value displayed directly below it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This does not affect existing invoices.

Please note, this is available to standard Subright Invoice customers but will not be enabled by default and will require configuration to enable. Please raise a tracker call quoting V99530, If you have any questions about this functionality, or speak to your customer contact.

V132035 - Change to Royalty Shares validation in Royalty Sets

A recent enhancement made to the Contributor Shares screen allowing users to amend all payees in Royalty sets in one go has been made in an earlier release.

Improvements to the Royalty Shares validation in the Royalty Sets have now been made to support these changes so that if formulas are being shared across payees e.g. 50/50 they will automatically be applied to each of these payees accordingly.

This has been made available to all customers with the Contracts & Rights module as part of this release. If you have any questions about these changes, please raise a Tracker call quoting V132035 or speak to your customer contacts.

V124785 - Payee VAT Registered Default for German Ledgers

To conform with the German law, for Payees where the Payee Ledger Country is Germany ONLY, the default logic for the VAT Registered field on the Payee details screen has been amended.

On the Contacts \ Contractual \ Payee Accounts \ [Click into a row], the “VAT Registered?” flag will default to unticked when creating a new Payee Account when the Payee Address is Germany or when changing the Country of an existing Payee Account to Germany.

This will then clear and hide the “Registered In?” Country lookup and “VAT Number” field. Users will still be able to tick the “VAT Registered?” flag which will then return the “Registered In?” Country lookup and “VAT Number” field.

When the Payee Account Address Country is NOT in the EU, the “VAT Registered?” flag will also default to unticked, this will again hide the “Registered In?” Country lookup and “VAT Number”. Users will be able to tick the “VAT Registered?” flag which will then return the “Registered In?” Country lookup and “VAT Number” field.

When the Payee Account Address Country is in the EU but NOT Germany, the “VAT Registered?” flag will default to ticked. This will display and make the “Registered In?” Country lookup and “VAT Number” field mandatory. Users will still be able to untick the “VAT Registered?” flag which will then hide the “Registered In?” country lookup and “VAT Number” field.

If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V124785, or speak to your customer contact.

V129113 - Improved security around Payee hovers

Please note this is only applicable to customers using the Contracts module

Information displayed to a User when hovering on a payee has been limited to the Contributor Number with no further details. This is controlled by the security rights of users. It is also possible to flag the contact the payee is on as a “Sensitive Contact”. This will also decrease the level of information displayed on hovers.

This change will affect the following screens when the Payees are being displayed for each Advances/Payment:

  • Contracts \ Head Contract \ Contracted Parties

  • Contracts \ Advances/Payments \ Advances/Payments

Note that the Paid as % of, Advance Split and Split Amounts will still be displayed in the hover, regardless of security rights.

Please note that this may require configuration to your system. If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V129113 or speak to your customer contact.

V125792 - Increased precision on Payee Upload Template

Please note this is only applicable to customers using the Contracts module

For better accuracy when uploading Contact records a "Biblio Contact Record ID" column has been added to the Payee Upload Template. If populated this will be used to match to the Contact Record using Contacts / Contact / General / ID

If the Contact Record cannot be matched using the “Biblio Contact Record ID” the "Contact Record Name" will be used instead to match to the Contact Record using Contacts / Contact / General / Name. When the secondary lookup is in use if there are more than one record with a matching "Contact Record Name", a validation error will be logged which will prevent the file from uploading. Users must then re-upload the template providing the correct "Biblio Contact Record ID" for the relevant contact row(s).

This functionality is controlled by a new control panel flag: "Payee Uploader will match to existing contacts record on Contact Record Name when Biblio Contact Record ID is blank."

This will be ticked by default to preserve the current logic of using "Contact Record Name" to find a matching contact record when the new column is empty.

If you have any questions about this functionality, please raise a Tracker call, quoting V125792, or speak to your customer contact.
