Next Level, a young and fast-growing Munich publishing house whose imprints include NOW and Deutscher Wirtschaftsbuch Verlag, has chosen BiblioSuite publishing software to bring its title data and assets together in a single system.

Next Level publishes mainly non-fiction titles, on topics such as personal development, business leadership, health and finance, and works with its authors on publishing strategies that reach well beyond the printed book. In a market reshaped by self-publishing, AI and new digital formats, the publisher needs to capture each title and its assets early, then deliver them to every sales channel in exactly the form each one needs. That is what BiblioSuite’s product management and ONIX feed capabilities are built for.

What BiblioSuite gives a publisher like Next Level:

  • A product is more than a book. Print, e-book, audiobook and non-book products live together as linked editions of one work, so a single idea can be published and marketed in every format without maintaining the data twice.

  • Enter it once, get it right everywhere. Product data, metadata and assets sit in one place, and a change takes effect across the whole system at once. As a result, BiblioSuite generates individually- tailored ONIX feeds for each recipient, so every trading partner receives exactly the data it needs to position a title well.

  • Keep pace with the market. New functionality reaches the system every ten weeks through BiblioSuite’s cloud-based model, so the publisher can respond to new demands without waiting for a major upgrade project.

Next Level joins a community of German publishers already working successfully with BiblioSuite, from independent houses to established names such as Duden, Cornelsen, DK Verlag and Mohr Siebeck.

“We are delighted that Next Level has chosen BiblioSuite. Any publisher looking to turn content into more than a single book needs reliable product data from the very start, as the basis for new formats, for target-group marketing campaigns and for events built around the title. That is the foundation BiblioSuite provides.” - Erdem Sagiroglu, Managing Director, Europe, Virtusales
